SCF Hosts Fall Welcome to Celebrate the New Academic Year

To kick off the Fall 2021 term, State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host free Fall Welcome events for all new students and their families from 4-6 p.m. on Aug. 10 at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, Bldg. 100; Aug. 11 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., The Library room 143/146; and Aug. 12 at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy., Sarasota, CIT Bldg. The events will feature free food and fun giveaways, including an SCF t-shirt.

Students can enjoy self-guided or small group tours to explore each campus, find their classrooms and check out student resources. Student ambassadors and SCF staff from departments such as Financial Aid, College and Career Success, and the SCF Bookstore will be available to answer questions. Attendees can also register for classes, buy books and supplies, and meet and network with other students.

Classes begin Aug. 16.
