SCF, Manatee-Sarasota to Host Health and Benefits Fair for Employees

SCF, which was designated a Healthy Business Certified Leader, is hosting a benefits and health fair Sept. 27 and 29 for its employees.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), which was designated a Healthy Business Certified Leader earlier this year, is hosting a benefits and health fair Sept. 27 and 29 for its employees and has attracted a number of health providers, including the newly minted SightMobile.

This month the Eye Associates debuted its newly acquired and outfitted 25-foot fully-contained, air conditioned bus, which travels throughout Manatee, Sarasota and South Hillsborough counties providing complimentary eye screenings as a community service. The SightMobile travels to local organizations and performs vision screenings in fewer than 5 minutes. The company will bring the SightMobile to both the Bradenton and Venice campuses for the benefits fair.

Other vendors attending the fair include OneBlood bloodmobile, Custom Benefit Services, Delta Dental, Florida Blue, SCF PT Massage Chairs, Tidewell Hospice, VSP, White Picket Produce and Walgreens. SCF employees will attend the College’s fair on Sept. 27 in Venice and Sept. 29 in Bradenton.
