SCF Offers Private Investigator Course at SCF Venice

SCF will offer a private investigator course at SCF Venice beginning Friday, Feb. 26.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer a private investigator course at SCF Venice beginning Friday, Feb. 26, in Bldg. 800, Room 832, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail.

These courses provide relevant technical knowledge and skills needed for further education and careers in law, public safety, and security and will cover industry regulations, department rules, licensing criteria and investigation techniques.

Completing this course meets the state licensing requirements to earn the Private Investigator Class CC intern license and will allow students to apply for a private investigator’s internship through the Florida Division of Licensing.

To register for the six-day, 40-hour course, visit SCF.edu/CCDenroll, click on the link labeled Professional Development in the left-hand column and select Private Investigator. Class size is limited to six students. Registration costs $395 per person.
