School Bus Sideswiped Car In Bradenton Crash: FL Highway Patrol

BRADENTON, FL — A school bus crashed into a car while making a turn at a Bradenton intersection Thursday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The car, driven by a 52-year-old Bradenton man, was stopped facing west in the outside lane of State Road 70 around 6:45 a.m.

The bus, driven by a 51-year-old Bradenton man, was heading west on S.R. 70 when it turned right onto 5th Street W. and sideswiped the car, FHP said.

The bus had four students, who weren’t injured, onboard at the time of the crash, which is being investigated by FHP.
