Skunk With Head Stuck In Bottle Rescued In Manatee County: Sheriff

PALMETTO, FL — A skunk in “a stinky situation” was rescued near the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office training center in Palmetto, the agency wrote in a Facebook post.

Deputy Fiore lent a hand after spotting the critter with its head trapped inside a plastic bottle.

“With a little assistance and some bolt cutters, he was able to free the little fella and he lived to smell another day,” the sheriff’s office said.
