Son Kills Mother, Her Boyfriend At Bradenton Mobile Home Park: Sheriff
A man faces two counts of second-degree murder after killing his mother and her boyfriend, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

BRADENTON, FL — A man killed his mother and her boyfriend Friday at their home in a Bradenton mobile home park, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Thomas Matejcek, 36, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
His mother, Patricia Matejcek, 62, and her boyfriend, Sean Harrison Sr., 55, were the victims of the double homicide.

The sheriff’s office didn’t share details about how they were killed or a possible motive for their murder.
Deputies arrived at the Arbor Terrace RV Park in the 200 block of 55th Avenue Terrace West just after noon in response to reports of a disturbance at their home and a woman crying out for help.

They found the two victims dead on the floor of the home and saw a man, later identified as Matejcek, running away, the sheriff’s office said.
Within minutes, deputies found him along 14th Street West and took him into custody.
“I commend the numerous deputies who converged on this area and quickly apprehended Matejcek for this senseless crime,” Sheriff Rick Wells said.
