State Senate Chief Haridopolos Coming to Bradenton
Tea Party Manatee will host 'Meet the Candidate' event May 16 at Mixon Fruit Farms.

State Senate President Mike Haridopolos is coming to Bradenton next week as part of a "Meet the Candidate" event to be held at , according to a news release.
Haridopolos, a Brevard County Republican and U.S. Senate candidate, is slated to attend the Tea Party Manatee event from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17. The public will have a chance to ask questions at the event. There will be a donation charge of $5 to cover expenses.
Haridopolos will be introduced by former State Rep. Bill Galvano (R-Bradenton), who is seeking the Republican nomination for state senator to fill the seat left vacant by State Sen. Mike Bennett, who is seeking a U.S. Congressional seat in 2012.

The May 17 event will also feature Lance Wheeler, youth coordinator for the 2010 U.S. senate candidacy of Rand Paul, the release states.
