Statewide Television Show to Showcase Bradenton Home in Educating Florida Yard Owners
Emmy Award Winning Show To Spotlight Ways Floridians Can Have Environmentally Friendly Yards
Many Floridians are concerned about our state's natural resources, such as our water and waterways, and feel compelled to preserve them for future generations. This is a growing concern with several environmental issues affecting various areas of the Sunshine State, including recent concerns in South Florida regarding Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades. So, how can the average Florida family do their part to preserve these precious natural assets? There is something that we all can do, and it starts in our own backyard, literally.
Chad Crawford, host of the Emmy Award winning television show "how to Do Florida," will feature an episode in the upcoming seventh season of the show on having a Florida yard makeover, as they document landscaping a yard in the Bradenton area from start to finish. Crawford will discuss various low maintenance, efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for Florida yards. Crawford’s large team of landscapers will completely remove everything from the yard and replace it with all native landscaping in a single day, on May 5, 2016. The before and after images will be noticeably different!
