Bradenton, FL – All year long, Anna Maria Oyster Bar is celebrating their 20th birthday by choosing a different non-profit organization each month to celebrate with. They chose Turning Points to help them celebrate for September.

Anna Maria Oyster Bar and Turning Points are both pillars in the community. AMOB is committed to giving back to many causes and organizations in our area, and frequently host charitable functions at the four Anna Maria Oyster Bar locations. They are also proud to participate in many local events for wonderful non-profit organizations, professional organizations and fundraisers in our community. Turning Points consistently and successful assists men, women and children who are homeless or are at the risk of homelessness in Manatee County. Turning Points is honored that AMOB is partnering in this way.

For every day in September, whenever a Birthday Cake Cocktail or Dos Equis draft is sold at any of the AMOB locations, Turning Points will receive a portion of the sale. Then on September 20th, AMOB will have an all day celebration and donate all of the proceeds from those drinks to Turning Points. Plus guests will have the opportunity to donate an additional amount at the bottom of their receipt. And also every day, if you donate a package of new socks or underwear, and bring it to any of the AMOB locations, you will receive a FREE Portabello Mushroom Appetizer. So now you can support Turning Points while enjoying a great meal and a great time at Anna Maria Oyster Bar.

About Turning Points

Turning Points and our Bill Galvano One Stop Center partners provide a remarkable variety of services designed to assist individuals and families on their path to financial stability and independence. Turning Points is the one stop shop for preventing and ending homelessness in our community. We provide day resource services (such as hot showers, laundry services, clothing, food), employment services, rental and utility assistance, veteran’s services (employment, housing and childcare), and free medical and dental care for the uninsured and underinsured. Over 10,000 people received help last year with critical services targeted to the essential needs of people in crisis.
