Teen Dies After Intentionally Being Run Over In Bradenton: Sheriff

BRADENTON, FL — A 19-year-old was charged with murder for driving over and killing another teenager after an argument in Bradenton Saturday afternoon, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said.

Josh Oviedo ran over the 17-year-old boy, whose name is being withheld under Marsy’s Law, around 5 p.m. in the 4600 block of 4th Avenue Drive E. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Oviedo was found behind a nearby shopping plaza shortly after the incident and arrested.
