Teen Found Dead At Bradenton Mobile Home Park: Sheriff

BRADENTON, FL — A teenager was found dead Sunday morning at a Bradenton mobile home park, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Nicholas Dickinson, 18, was shot once in the side of his chest during a shootout with another suspect or suspects at Pic Town Mobile Home Park, the sheriff’s office said. His body was found around 9:30 a.m.

Detectives are processing evidence and following a variety of leads in the case.

This was not a random shooting, MCSO said. No suspects have been named and there have been no arrests.

Dickinson may have known the individuals who shot him and may have been expecting them, the sheriff’s office said. The motive remains unknown.
