Teen Girl In Serious Condition Following Crash On SR 70
A 17-year-old Myakka girl is in serious condition following an accident Thursday, Oct. 18, just before 1 p.m. on State Road 70.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL -- A 17-year-old Myakka girl is in serious condition following an accident Thursday, Oct. 18, just before 1 p.m. on State Road 70.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Korin Marie Seyler was driving a Mercury Montego east on S.R. 70, approaching Verna Bethany Road, when she turned into the path of a westbound Mack truck driven by Jorge Luis Portomene, 35, of North Fort Myers. An eastbound Toyota Prius driven by Debra Alison Moroff, 65, of Dunedin then hit the right side of Seyler's Montego.
Seyler was taken to Sarasota Hospital in serious condition. Portomene and Moroff sustained minor injuries.
