Toddler's Drowning Under Investigation

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Tuesday drowning death.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called out to 1206 51st Ave. E. shortly after 3 p.m. in reference to a 1-year-old that had been found in a pool.

Deputies say the child’s mother, Elizabeth Mueller, and two of her children were home alone at the time. Mueller was doing laundry when she realized Kyllian was not inside their home, an email from the agency said.

Mueller found the boy in the pool and pulled him out. The child was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
