Two Busted in Big Drug Deal in Parking Lot: Report
Detectives find huge stash of heroin, cocaine in one suspect's Jeep Cherokee, says sheriff's office.

Deputies with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men Friday evening who were allegedly distributing large amounts of heroin and cocaine in the parking lot of a Bradenton bar, according to a media report.
Investigators seized drugs from the vehicle of Damien Tremaine Ross, 35, the Bradenton Herald reported. In a search of his Jeep Cherokee, they reportedly found 82.1 grams of heroin, 83.3 grams of rock cocaine, 675.4 grams of powder cocaine, 2.4 grams of marijuana and cash.
The drug bust took place in the parking lot of Pool Room 41, 5106 14th St. W, in Manatee, according to the sheriff’s office. Ross faces charges of trafficking heroin, trafficking powder cocaine, trafficking rock cocaine and resisting arrest. He’s being held without bond at the Manatee County jail.

Ross also was arrested last year in Bradenton on a cocaine-trafficking charge. That case is pending, the Herald reported.
The investigators also arrested Javaris McCants after finding small amounts of heroin and marijuana in his vehicle, the sheriff’s office said. McCants faces charges of heroin possession and marijuana possession, and was held on bonds totaling $2,000.
