Seahawks coaches Jamie Carver, Derek Wagner and Nick Bobbi were very pleased with the play of the U17 Boys Lacrosse team at the PDQ Palm Beach Blast over the June 10th weekend.
The team finished with a 3-2 winning record in the following games:

Sandsharks '18 vs Sarasota Seahawks, W 4-3
Empire Elite vs. Sarasota Seahawks, W 12-1
Stealth vs. Sarasota Seahawks, W 9-0
Barracudas Blue vs. Seahawks, L 7-5
Weekend stat: Peter Giannone, #10 Attack- 10 goals 5 assists,
Ben Berg- #15 Goalie, 42 saves
Coach Carver stated that most of the U17 team are high school freshmen and could play U15 but "play up"
at U17. The Seahawks Select Travel program is in it's 2nd summer season. The Sarasota Seahawks Lacrosse
Club is 5 years old and is are a 501 C 3 non-profit. Coaches are all US Lacrosse Level 1 or 2 certified. Most
Seahawks coaches played lacrosse at the collegiate level. For the summer, former Players/Alumni
from schools such as UCF, FSU, Catawba, Swarthmore and FAU are involved with the program.
All of the Seahawks coaches see great progress with the team through the summer and beyond. High school lacrosse continues to grow and provide athletic and academic opportunities for players.
