Witness 'Play-by-Play' Helped Catch a Thief, Deputies Say
Manatee deputies say they caught the man red handed inside a vehicle.

A 29-year-old Bradenton man faces criminal charges after deputies say he was cornered by a deputy and a K9 inside an auto burglary victim’s vehicle.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, it received a call early Sunday morning about a man walking through the Vista at Palma Sola Apartments’ parking lot trying the door handles on numerous cars. With the witness still on the line, providing a “play by play,” deputies arrived and set up a perimeter.
“K9 handler Drymon with K9 Boss entered the complex stealthily,” a sheriff’s office report said. The pair, with a little directional support from the witness, were able to catch man inside the victim’s car.
