BRADENTON, FL — A woman faces charges after hitting another woman in the head with a blunt object, the Bradenton Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

Officers responded to a 911 call on Sept. 28 at Love Park in the 100 block of 11th Avenue W. There, they found the victim, who had been hit in the head.

The suspect, Sharama “Ty” McCullough, 35, left the scene before they arrived.

She was found days later, and arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, the agency said.

The victim is recovering from the attack.
