Woman Using Walker Hit By Garbage Truck In Bradenton: FHP

BRADENTON, FL — A woman using a walker was critically injured after being hit by a garbage truck in a condo parking lot Tuesday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The 71-year-old victim was walking in the parking lot at 3589 Lake Bayshore Drive in Bradenton just before 9:30 a.m.

The woman fell to the pavement after being hit by the right side of the truck, which was traveling through the parking lot, FHP said.

She was brought to a local hospital with critical injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, FHP said.
