1 Dead in I-75 Crash Near Brandon Boulevard
A 20-year-old Tampa man was killed in the Monday afternoon crash.

BRANDON, FL — A 20-year-old Tampa man is dead following a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 Monday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Mitchell Joseph Marlowe was heading south on I-75 around 1:26 p.m. in a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. As Marlowe approached the Brandon Boulevard exit, he lost control for an unknown reason, a highway patrol report said.
Marlowe’s car left the road, went onto the grass and struck a road sign, the report said. Marlowe, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car.

Troopers say Marlowe died at the scene.
