TAMPA, FL — While no one took home the $900 million jackpot in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, someone in the Tampa Bay area is $1 million richer for playing.
The Florida Lottery announced on its Facebook page Sunday morning that one $1 million ticket was sold in the Sunshine State. The lucky winner purchased the ticket at Winn-Dixie, 7851 Palm River Road in Tampa.
With no jackpot winner in Saturday’s drawing, the Powerball has once against rolled over. Wednesday’s jackpot is worth an estimated $1.3 billion.
