1 Person Dead As 2 Brandon Homes Burn Down
An overnight fire in a Brandon neighborhood as left one person dead and destroyed two homes.
BRANDON, FL -- An overnight fire in a Brandon neighborhood as left one person dead and destroyed two homes.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a two-alarm fire just before 1 a.m. Feb. 4 in the4000 block of Forecast Drive east of South Kings Avenue and south of Bloomingdale Avenue.
When they arrived, they found two single-family homes on fire. It took about an hour to put out the fire. In the process, firefighters discovered a person dead inside the burned-out home at 4027 Forecast Drive.

The person's name has not been released. The medical examiner is trying to determine the cause of death.
The cause of the fires is also under investigation.
