17-Year-Old Girl Hit And Killed On I-75 In Sun City Center: FHP
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash that took the life of a teenager when she walked in the travel lanes of I-75
SUN CITY CENTER, FL — A 17-year-old girl died Wednesday night when a tractor trailer hit her on Interstate-75 in Sun City Center, a Florida Highway Patrol news release said.
The victim walked southbound in the lanes of travel for unknown reasons, police say, near mile marker 240.
The vehicle kept driving southbound on I-75 after it hit the victim at 11:10 p.m, authorities said.
