18-Year-Old Facing 3 Murders Counts In Bloody Home Invasion

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a bloody home invasion that left three people dead in October.

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a bloody home invasion that left three people dead in October.

On Oct. 10, two people were inside a mobile home in the 5000 block of North Falkenburg Road when three armed people burst in, intending to rob the home. One of the residents was killed. The other was injured but managed to shoot and kill two of the three robbers.

The third man accused in that home invasion, Mauntellis Deone Williams, 18, has been charged with first-degree felony murder in the death of the occupant of the mobile home as well as second-degree felony murder in the deaths of the two people the sheriff's office said participated in the home invasion with him.

Williams was taken into custody Dec. 9 and booked into the Orient Road Jail without incident.

The resident who acted in self-defense was not charged.
