2 Killed In Crash At Brandon Parkway, Town Center Drive

BRANDON, FL — Two people have died following an early-morning accident Tuesday at the intersection of the Brandon Parkway and Town Center Boulevard.

The Florida Highway Patrol has released the name of one of the people killed, Harold A. Climaco, 36, of Chelsea, Massachusetts. The name of the second person is still pending notification of next of kin.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 4:58 a.m. Michael Iacob, 26, of Tampa was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck north on Town Center Boulevard and the driver of a Nissan SUV was headed east on the Brandon Parkway when the two vehicles collided at the intersection.

The collision caused the Nissan to burst into flames. A passenger in the Nissan died at the scene. The driver died later at Brandon Regional Hospital.

Troopers have not determined which vehicle had a red light at the time of the crash.

The names of those killed in the accident are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
