2-Year-Old Dies 2 Days After Back-Up Crash
The little boy was hit by a truck backing out of his Gibsonton yard on Sunday.

Gibsonton, FL — A 2-year-old boy who was seriously injured when he was hit by a truck backing out of his yard on Sunday has died from his injuries.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced late Tuesday afternoon that Zachary Ustaszewski died after suffering severe head trauma in the Sunday accident.
The accident occurred when Brandon Concepcion, 28, and the little boy’s grandfather, Randy Lear, were leaving a home on Flume Terrace around 4:20 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office. Concepcion backed away from the residence in his truck, but did not see Zachary in a stroller behind him, an email from the sheriff’s office said.

Concepcion, deputies said, began to pull forward, not aware he had backed over the stroller.
A neighbor ran to the truck and began banging on the window to stop the men, the email said. The child was pulled to a grassy area near the home and authorities were called.

Zachary was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital following the crash.
Deputies have not indicated a citation will be issued in the accident. No further information is available at this time.
