20-Year Old Pinellas Park Woman Killed Walking On U.S. 301

BRANDON, FL — A 20-year-old Pinellas Park woman died Wednesday when she was struck by a car while crossing U.S. 301 near Interstate 4.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Gabrielle Jenkins was walking north in the outside lane southbound lane of U.S. 301 at 11:33 p.m. when she was struck by a freight truck driven by Edwin Ramos, 43, of Pennsylvania.

Jenkins was transported to Tampa General Hospital where she died.
