2016 Florida State Fair Tickets Now On Sale

The 112th annual fair is set for Feb. 4-15.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents eager for the Florida State Fair’s arrival don’t have to wait any longer to get their hands on tickets.

Walgreens stores across the state are now offering advanced admission tickets and ride armbands, the fair announced Tuesday. This year’s fair takes place Feb. 4-15 at the Florida State Fairgrounds at Interstate 4 and U.S. 301. The theme for the 112th run of the fair is “So Much to Explore.”

In addition to rides, games and exhibits, the fair features a lineup of entertainment that includes Gary Puckett, Colt Ford, Robert Cray and Lazy Bonez, among other acts. Tickets for the musical acts are available on the fair’s website. Prices are $20 for reserved seating and $10 for general admission.

“There is truly something for everyone at the Florida State Fair,” Charles C. Pesano, Executive Director of the Florida State Fair Authority, said in a media release. “This is a great year to explore all there is to offer, while having fun on a budget.”

Advanced tickets are $9 for adults, ages 12 and older, $5 for children ages 6-11 and $7 for seniors. Senior tickets are only valid for Feb. 8-12. Advanced any day armbands are $30. Weekday bands, valid Monday through Thursday, except Presidents Day, are $30. They can be purchased at any Walgreens in the state or on the fair’s website. Parking at the fairgrounds is free.
