2nd Arrest Made In Triple Homicide In Palm River
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has made another arrest in a gruesome triple homicide that took place Nov. 15 in Palm River.

PALM RIVER, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has made another arrest in a gruesome triple homicide that took place Nov. 15 in Palm River.
Ricky Wilkerson Jr., 23, was arrested Friday in connection with the deaths of three people whose bodies were found in a burned-out mobile home 6221 16th Ave. S. in Tampa.
Hillsborough County firefighters who were called to the scene for a structure fire at 3:05 p.m. Nov. 15. When the fire was out, firefighters discovered the bodies of Derek Archie, 31, Xavier Greene, 28, and Haley Stone, 20. All three victims suffered upper body trauma, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office obtained some home surveillance video that showed three people exiting a white Nissan Altima at the mobile home. The cameras also captured a gray Infiniti at the residence shortly after. A man can be seen getting out of the Infiniti and walking toward the mobile home with what appears to be a gas can just before the mobile home ignites.
One of the men was later identified as Xavier Whitehead, 28, who was arrested on Dec. 1 and charged with armed burglary of a dwelling, first-degree arson and tampering with evidence.

Throughout the course of the investigation, Wilkerson, the registered owner of the Nissan Altima, was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He has been booked into the Orient Road Jail without bond and charged with three counts of first-degree murder, armed burglary of a dwelling and robbery with a firearm.
