450 Jobs Open at Brandon's Topgolf

Brandon area residents on the hunt for new jobs will find 450 opportunities are officially available at Topgolf International’s first Florida location.

The company announced in a media release Tuesday that it has posted hundreds of openings for the Tampa location on its website. Positions range from servers and kitchen staff to guess services and more.

Topgolf is a golf-themed entertainment center that combines competitive golf games with dining. The new location at 10690 Palm River Road will begin “auditioning” potential hires in October and November.

“Each facility offers an upscale, laid-back experience that features climate-controlled hitting bays and an impressive food and beverage menu crafted by an executive chef,” the media release said. “Mix in dynamic event spaces for groups of all sizes, and Topgolf stands as the premier entertainment complex where the competition of sport meets the neighborhood’s favorite hangout.”

Topgolf’s director of talent management, Deslyn Douglas, said jobs with the company are a hot commodity.

“More than 1,500 people auditioned at the most recent Topgolf opening, so I would encourage interested Tampa-area residents to apply early,” Douglas said.
