Accused Accomplices Arrested In Thonotosassa Home Invasion
The third fugitive being sought in a May 31 home invasion that left one of the robbers dead was arrested Sunday, Oct. 7 in Clay County.

THONOTOSASSA, FL -- The third fugitive being sought in a May 31 home invasion that left one of the robbers dead was arrested Sunday, Oct. 7 in Clay County.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives arrested Taylor Pritt, 20, and Vincent Benitez, 20, on Saturday and the Clay County Sheriff's Office arrested Ashley Causey, 32, around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to the sheriff's office, Pritt, Benitez, Causey and Michael Caddo, 25, were attempting to rob a home in the 12900 block of Morris Ridge Road on May 31 when the homeowner opened fire on them, killing Caddo.

Florida law allows people to be charged with felony murder if someone is killed while they are committing a felony crime. The three are charged with second-degree felony murder with a firearm and robbery/home invasion with a firearm.
There are no charges against the homeowner who was defending himself.
