ALDI Debuts New Design Of Remodeled Brandon Store

BRANDON, FL — ALDI will welcome shoppers back to its renovated Brandon store when it reopens Thursday, Sept. 26. The store at 1945-A W. Lumsden Road , is part of a $1.9 billion initiative to remodel and expand more than 1,300 ALDI stores nationwide by the end of 2020. Locally, ALDI is investing over $115 million to update 83 stores in Florida by the end of 2020.

To celebrate the Brandon store reopening, ALDI will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 26 at 8:25 a.m., followed by its popular Golden Ticket giveaway offering gift cards to the first 100 customers. Shoppers can also sample ALDI-exclusive brand foods and enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce.

The updated Brandon ALDI store layout features expansive refrigeration space to accommodate the fresh, healthy and convenient products people want most. ALDI recently expanded its product offerings, making 20 percent of its total selection new. This expansion is part of the company’s aggressive national growth and remodel plan, and it includes a 40 percent increase in its fresh food selection, with many organic, convenient and easy-to-prepare options. ALDI stores also feature open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally friendly building materials.

The Brandon store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

“We listened when we heard ALDI customers wanted more fresh and convenient options, and our remodeled stores allow us to offer them exactly what they’re looking for,” said Matt Thon, Haines City division vice president for ALDI. “Expanding our fresh product selection is just one of the ways we’ve improved the grocery shopping experience at ALDI and we’re excited to introduce this to our shoppers in Brandon.”

To make grocery shopping even easier for its growing customer base, ALDI offers online grocery delivery service through Instacart in more than 10,000 ZIP codes, including Brandon and Valrico.

ALDI recently announced the winners of its new Fan Favorites program, in which 40,000 passionate customers voted for their most-loved ALDI products across 23 categories. The most-voted product in Florida? Happy Farms String Cheese.
