Missing 1-Year-Old Hillsborough County Boy Found; Mom In Custody

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has located a missing 1-year-old boy and arrested his mother.

BRANDON, FL -- After following up on multiple leads, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has located a missing, endangered 1-year-old boy.

HCSO's District 1 Street Crimes Unit recovered Valyn Douglass-Bush, who appeared happy and in good health.

His mother, Aryn Douglass, 33, who has an active arrest warrant for felony petit theft, has been taken into custody.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office issued a missing children's alert for Valyn following a complaint to the Child Protective Investigations Division about the boy being neglected. A court order to take the child into custody was issued.

The boy was last seen at 1501 N. Falkenburg Road, Tampa, on May 20.
