• Brandon bank robbery: Convicted felon accused of robbing Wells Fargo, deputies say (fox13news.com) — A Wells Fargo branch on South Kings Avenue in Brandon was robbed Wednesday afternoon, and deputies quickly arrested a 59-year-old convicted felon nearby after he allegedly passed a demand note and fled. Hillsborough County detectives say he admitted to the robbery and now faces new charges on top of a long history of prior robbery convictions, while the investigation continues.
