• Tampa students walk, bike to school as safety takes center stage at campus without buses (fox13news.com) — Hillsborough County schools, including several in Brandon, are taking part in National Walk & Bike to School Day, highlighting the need for safer walking and biking routes for students. A new partnership at Tampa's Sulphur Springs K-8 with nonprofit Sidewalk Stompers aims to improve everyday routes, and lessons from that effort could influence safety improvements around Brandon-area campuses too.
