Elementary Students Perform for School Board

Each year the Hillsborough County School Board proclaims the importance of music in public schools at their March meeting which is the National Association for Music Education's- MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS MONTH. This year’s theme is “Music Education – Orchestrating Success!”

Our successful and prestigious All State Chorus students from eight area schools open the Tuesday March 5th meeting at 5:30pm by singing the National Anthem.

The Brandon area is represented by Lauren Chisholm and music teacher, Kathryn Jurado from  Limona Elementary School. From Dover and Ruskin are Isabelle Stewart and music teacher Courtney Driggers at Nelson Elementary joined by Lydia Mills, Morgane Rogers from Ruskin Elementary School and their music teachers StephanieL Powers and  Sophavy Vann.
