Consumers can also stay up to date on gas prices with Thorntons Gas Price Alert program. The simple-to-use program requires a one-time participant text to 55123 with the market code (e.g., TAMGPA for Tampa-St.Pete-Clearwater area). Participants will receive a text message before fuel prices are set to increase at the pump, with an alert sent each time Thorntons is notified of a confirmed increase. Customers can also sign up by calling 1-866-473-0017, where they will then press Option 4 and follow the prompts.
