Armed Robber Hits Brandon Credit Union, Makes Off With Money
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who robbed a Brandon credit union Monday, Oct. 22 at 12:02 p.m.
BRANDON, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who robbed a Brandon credit union Monday, Oct. 22 at 12:02 p.m.
According to the sheriff's office, a man armed with a gun entered the MidFlorida Credit Union at 825 W. Brandon Blvd. and gave a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and the robber fled the bank with the money. The sheriff's office said he headed southeast from the bank, climbed over a fence and disappeared.
He is black, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build, in his late 20s. He was wearing a wig with dreadlocks, a white T-shirt, orange safety vest, green cargo pants and black boots with distinctive gold detail.

Anyone who recognizes the robber is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200. To be eligible for a cash reward, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
