Tampa Bay area residents hoping to land a job at the new Bass Pro Shops location in Brandon when it opens this summer can test the waters during this week’s job fair.
The company is staging a three-day job fair May 18-20 at The Regent, 6437 Watson Road, in Riverview. The fair opens from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
While it is unclear just how many positions are opening, the company states there are opportunities – full- and part-time – in all departments.

The new location, near the intersection of Falkenburg and Palm River roads, is set to open sometime in July.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and must apply in person. Applications are not be accepted prior to the job fair.
