News about Joel's appearance was released Thursday by the city's Mayor Buddy Dyer."This is yet another example of the Amway Center continuing to deliver on its promise of bringing the very best in live entertainment to our Central Florida community," Dyer was quoted in a media release as saying. "It will be a Truly Legendary New Year's eve celebration!"The Dec. 31 appearance is Joel's first solo headlining show in the Orlando area since 2007.Tickets for the six-time Grammy award winner's show go on sale for the general public Nov. 14 via <a href="http://www.ticketmaster.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TicketMaster.com</a>.
