Body Found in Brandon Lake Has Been Identified

Fingerprints were used to make a match.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a body found Sunday inside a vehicle submerged in a Brandon lake has been positively identified as Apryl Foster.

β€œShe was identified through fingerprints,” an email from the agency to media stated. The sheriff’s office is providing no additional information at this time.

Foster’s car was found in a lake near Open Field Loop and Rain Dance Place Sunday afternoon. At the time, police stopped short of saying the person found inside the vehicle was Foster, but did note the person was wearing clothing that matched what the missing 33-year-old was last seen wearing.
