Bolts Do Good At Kid's Place; Watch Party Planned Tonight
While the Tampa Bay Lightning battles to remain in the playoffs, Lightning alumni were busy making a special delivery to A Kid's Place.
BRANDON, FL --- While the Tampa Bay Lightning battles to remain in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Lightning alumni were busy making a special delivery to A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay Inc. in Brandon.
As its first "Bolts Do Good" community service event of the playoffs, on Monday the Bolts and AdventHealth helped fill A Kid's Place wish list.
Volunteers delivered:

- 100 Buddy Bears with notes of encouragement
- 480 boxes of cereal
- 768 cereal bars
- 2500 individual packed snacks
- 480 juice boxes
- 500 individual sunscreens
- 250 coloring books with crayons
Lightning alumni Ruslan Fedotenko and Brian Bradley, ThunderBug and Rolling Thunder were on hand to sign some autographs and play a little hockey as well.
A Kid’s Place is a nonprofit organization that provides foster care for abused, neglected or abandoned children. The home regularly cares for as many as 60 children at a time.

AdventHealth and the Lightning also partnered for “Do Good Days” in the community during last year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.
With three disappointing playoff games behind them, the Bolts play Game 4 tonight, April 16, at 7 p.m. in the hopes of remaining in the playoffs.
A watch part is planned at Sparkman Wharf, 615 Channelside Drive, Tampa, starting at 6 p.m. It will feature live music, beer specials, food and giveaways.
