I find it really interesting that the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners is telling everyone that we have to live within "our" means, which means scarifices for all.
And, yes, I understand that different projects come out of different "pots" that cannot be mixed.
Yet, I do not understand why all school programs are being cut, parks and recreation buildings are being closed, but there are plans on the books for building a new complex in the FishHawk area. (Especially since the $7 million Regent center is supposed to provide services to FishHawk as well).

Please explain to me how the county can justify spending money to build these things, but cannot afford to staff the ones we already have.
PS: I do believe in documenting my statements. FishHawk's projects are numbered: #80654, #83229 and #83219. Ask the BOCC where the project will be located, inside or outside the gates?
