Brandon Ballet 2014 Summer Intensive & Scholarship Auditions

Serious

training ballet dancers ages nine and older are invited to audition for Brandon

Ballet's 2014 Summer Intensive Program! The intensive is 3 weeks of detailed

ballet instruction with an emphasis on technique and additional classes in

pointe work, pas de deux (certain levels), men's classes, character, jazz,

modern, African, conditioning and more. Admission is by audition only, and

class sizes are limited; male scholarships are available. Faculty will include

guest professional instructors, and Artistic Director, Octavio Martin, and

Ballet Mistress, Yaima Franco. The Intensive runs from June 9-27, 2014, with classes on Monday-Friday; a special presentation of choreography

will be held on the last day of the intensive.




Auditions will be held SATURDAY,

JANUARY 25th, 2014
at The Dance Center

(Dancers 9 and up)

(Dancers 11 and up).

Dancers ages

13-18 can be considered for Brandon Ballet's Richard Munro Scholarship. This

award of up to $500 is used to offset the cost of any summer intensive of the recipient's choosing. A separate application and fee are

required if applying for the Richard Munro ScholarshipConsideration for the scholarship takes place

during the dancer's scheduled Summer Intensive audition.
