According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, four adults were hanging out inside the apartment at 1220 Astor Commons Place around 1 a.m. when an argument between two men occurred. That argument turned violent, deputies say.
The victim, identified as Travis Ware, 32, suffered upper body trauma, deputies say, and stumbled outside the home while the suspect fled the scene. Ware, who lives in the same complex, but not in the home where the attack occurred, died later at Tampa General Hospital.

Deputies are now looking for Ralph Leon Pearson, 51, for questioning in the case.
“Pearson was inside the apartment at the time of the incident, but fled prior to deputies’ arrival,” an email to media from the sheriff’s office stated. “Detectives would like to speak with him to determine his exact involvement.”
Further information about the case has not yet been released.
