Update: Brandon Man Critical After Tampa Motorcycle Crash

The accident happened early Tuesday morning near the Hard Rock Casino.

Update Oct. 14, 12:16 p.m.: The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the man injured in the motorcycle crash as Satchind Mansingh of Brandon. He remains in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital. Troopers say charges are pending in the accident.

A 25-year-old Brandon man is in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash on Hillsborough Avenue Tuesday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was heading westbound on Hillsborough on a 2006 Yamaha Roadliner around 4:10 a.m. He attempted to make a left turn into the 5223 N. Orient Road parking lot at the Hard Rock Casino, but failed to negotiate the turn. That caused the front tire of his bike hit a median. The motorcycle overturned.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Tampa General Hospital with critical injuries.
