Brandon Man Dies After Recording Studio Shooting
The shooting occurred late Sunday evening.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred outside a recording studio Sunday night.
According to the sheriff’s office Ivan Parker II, 25, of Brandon stepped outside a “makeshift” recording studio at 6209 N. 50th St. in Tampa around 11 p.m. Friends inside the building heard gunshots and came outside. That’s when they found Parker lying on the ground, an email from the sheriff’s office stated.
“They put the victim in their car and transported him to the VA hospital where he later died,” the email said.

The investigation into the shooting remains active with detectives still conducting interviews, the email said. While no motive has been established, detectives say they do not believe the shooting was random.
