Brandon Man Killed In Nightclub Shooting

BRANDON, FL — A 24-year-old Brandon man is dead following a shooting outside the Tiaga Nightclub.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, David Allen Smith and an unidentified man got into an argument inside the 10315 Causeway Blvd. club around 1:10 a.m. The fight escalated, an email from the sheriff’s office said, and moved outside where Smith was shot at least once.

The man deputies are looking for fled the scene in a gray vehicle, the email said.

Smith was taken to a local hospital, but died shortly after arriving.

A full description of the suspect is not yet available. No further information is being released at this time.
