Brandon Motorcyclist Killed After Hitting Pickup Truck On I-4
A 23-year-old Brandon motorcyclist was killed Friday after crashing into the rear of a Dodge Ram on Interstate 4.

SEFFNER, FL -- A 23-year-old Brandon motorcyclist was killed Friday after crashing into the rear of a Dodge Ram on Interstate 4.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Andy Jackson Sanford was traveling east on I-4 just east of State Road 574 at 1:45 a.m. when he collided with the rear of the Ram.
Following the crash, the driver of the Ram, Johnathon Dujuan Thompson, 39 of Fort Lauderdale, left the scene and was later stopped by troopers who charged him with leaving the scene of a crash, driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

Sanford was transported to Tampa General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
