Brandon Nightclub Shooting: Suspect Named
A search is on for the suspect in a shooting that led to a 24-year-old man's death Friday morning.

BRANDON, FL — A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 32-year-old man in connection with a Friday morning fatal shooting at Brandon’s Tiaga Nightclub.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Steve Edmounds Evans of Brandon is wanted on first-degree murder and aggravated assault with a firearm charges.

Evans is described as standing 6 feet, 1 inch in height and weighs an estimated 200 pounds. He has short black hair and facial stubble. He may be driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe or a green Buick Park Avenue.
Evans “should be considered armed and dangerous,” the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media.

Deputies say he and David Allen Smith, 24, got into an argument inside the 10315 Causeway Blvd. club around 1:10 a.m. Friday. The fight moved outside where Smith was shot at least once. He died later at a local hospital.
