Brandon Walmart Ready For Business
The location that closed earlier this year reopens Friday, Nov. 13.

Brandon area shoppers won’t have to drive out of their way to visit a Walmart Supercenter much longer.
The company has announced the 1208 E. Brandon Blvd. store, closed in April, is opening for business once more. The store is set to begin greeting customers bright and early Friday morning.
“We have heard from many in the community that they are eager to shop at our store once again,” Walmart spokeswoman Erica Jones said in a statement. “All the repairs are complete and we made extensive upgrades and renovations throughout the store that better reflects the shopping experience our customers now want. We thank the community for their patience during this time and we look forward to seeing you soon.”

The location closed in mid-April after the company said the store had plumbing problems. It was one of several locations across the country that abruptly at that time due to cited plumbing issues.
